Volunteers play an important role in supporting the 57th Annual NIEA Convention & Trade Show. By contributing your time, you help create a welcoming and well-supported experience for Native educators, students, Tribal leaders, and community members from across the country.

Volunteering offers an opportunity to connect with others, support the flow of the event, and contribute to the success of one of the largest national gatherings dedicated to Native education.

Volunteer Benefits

Volunteers who serve 8 or more hours during Convention week (October 7–10, 2026) will receive:

• A complimentary NIEA membership for one year
• An opportunity to build connections and contribute to Native education and community

Volunteers may assist with registration, event set-up, room monitoring, student activities, and other Convention needs. Your time and support help ensure a smooth and meaningful experience for all attendees.
